Egide Thein - Advisory Committee to Board of Directors

Mr. Thein is founder and Chairman of Truth Technologies, Inc., a Vienna, VA - based technology company that designs security software and services for the financial industry. He was formerly General Representative for the Americas for Banque et Caisse d’Epargne de l’Etat, Luxembourg (1995-2005). Mr. Thein was the former Consul General to the U.S. in New York and Director of Board of Economic Development for the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (1989-1995). In addition, he also served as a spokesman to the U.N. for the European Economic Communities at the reconvened General Assembly of 1991. Mr. Thein was formerly Chief of Staff of Crown Prince Henri of Luxembourg, now Grand Duke of Luxembourg (1975-1989). He served with the Luxembourg Armed Forces and with Allied Mobile Force of NATO (1969-1975). He graduated from Ecole Royale Militaire, Brussels, Belgium (1964-1969) and as Public Affairs Officer of the U.S. Defense Information School. He is a trustee of Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, CT. He is fluent in Luxembourgish, French, German and English.
